What is Essence?

Essence is a powerful, multi-benefit skincare step that is applied after cleansing and balancing the skin and applying targeted serums. While our facial essence feels like a water, it is actually a concentrated, gently astringent serum that works to refine and hydrate skin while absorbing excess oil. Unlike most other serums, essence is applied with a gentle patting motion, which allows this dynamic product to be pushed into the skin and diminish visible pores, even after other serums have been applied.

How to Use

Essence should be applied after cleansing and balancing skin and applying targeted serums, and before applying moisturizer.

Shake well to mix the biphase formula, which is infused with powder.

Saturate a cotton pad and apply to the entire face using a patting motion. Finish application by gently smoothing the cotton over any noticeably rough areas.

We recommend applying Essential Refining Essence with our Cotton, which is infused with natural silk for optimal application of the ingredients contained within our skincare.
